Initial import of various mail handling and prereq Perl modules.
Most of this stuff duplicates functionality from stuff like procmail and
fetchmail, etc... But it's nice to have choices, or at least be able to
do things with PCRE.

Changed permissions of /usr/bin/crontab from 4750 to 4755.
This should allow users to "crontab -e" and edit their personal tab
files.

Upgrade to latest version of traceroute.
This is one of those programs where as soon as the new version comes
out, the developers get rid of the old versions. So, I did this to stay
current.
Removed the old ebuild and digest files for versions that were no longer
pertinent.
Removed the old digest files for ebuilds that were never put into CVS.
Updated SRC_URI to point to http://ee.lbl.gov/.
Updated src_install() to use "try make prefix=${D}/usr install".

Cleaned up the location of the symlinks for sendmail.
The links now are:
/usr/sbin/exim -> /usr/bin/mail
/usr/sbin/exim -> /usr/bin/mailq
/usr/sbin/exim -> /usr/bin/newaliases
/usr/sbin/exim -> /usr/lib/sendmail
/usr/sbin/exim -> /usr/sbin/sendmail
Hopefully, we can make these standard locations for these programs.

Added "--localstatedir=/var" to configure line.
Before named would start and try to put pidfile in /usr/var.
Added "--with-libtool".
This allows shared libraries to be built.
Have ${O}/files/named.conf install into ${D}/etc/bind instead of ${D}/etc.
This now matches the "--etcdir=/etc/bind" configuration parameter.
Removed the old portage as a matter of housekeeping...

Massive net-mail cleanup.
qmail has joined the ranks of exim and now does PROVIDE="virtual/mta".
maildrop has been updated to use virtual/mta instead of (qmail || exim).
Old versions have been removed to keep things neat...

Update to the latest version of exim.
The new version provides:
TLS support
enhanced functionality
the usual slew of bug fixes.
The portage now uses a large sed macro in the ebuild to modify the
Makefile (as opposed to the 3.16 version which just copied a new
Makefile).
exim-3.16.ebuild has been removed in favor of the new version.
Likewise, files/Makefile has been removed now that the ebuild uses sed
to modify the Makefile.

changes to baselayout -- 00baselayout and 00initscripts have been merged
into the new baselayout package. All data is in FILESDIR rather than in
separate archives. This should make things easier to fix.
This form allows you to request diffs between any two revisions of this file.
For each of the two "sides" of the diff,
select a symbolic revision name using the selection box, or choose
'Use Text Field' and enter a numeric revision.
