release time. note that since this is beta1, the release dir and stage/media names have been adjusted accordingly. also, the handbooks are marked with a disclaimer=draft, so once the final is out, that will be removed and the release names adjusted. in the mean time, these are live. the beta is officially released. no, it's not april fools, but it is april 1st. :)

Separation of Gentoo Handbook into Current and 2004.3
Converted dates to YYYY-MM-DD format
Moving 2004.3 documentation
Adding version/date information in pages
Exit from the mountpoint before unmounting as reported by John Holden
#62186: Fixed language mistakes all over the place thanks to John Richards
Typo, label is #reboot, not #rebooting
#58200 - Add Gentoo/PPC64 Handbook #47705 - Use grub-install instead of grub's interactive shell Move bootloader instructions to the end of the installation instructions
According to http://www.sparc-boot.org/usingsilo.html you only need to copy over the silo.conf file to /boot if / (where /etc/silo.conf resides) is on a different physical disk than where you want to install SILO on (and /boot is on the same disk). For instance, if you want to install SILO on /dev/sda but your "/" resides on /dev/sdb# then you should have your "/boot" somewhere on /dev/sda# and copy over /etc/silo.conf to /boot and run silo with the "-C" option. Still catching up? Just read the beforementioned URL :)
timeout for silo is measured in tenths of seconds, not seconds
Adding Gentoo/SPARC instructions atomically
