Bug 489782 - make.globals is now elsewhere
Fix bug #427860 - Use /etc/portage for make.conf and make.profile. Old location (/etc) is still supported, this is a heads up (new default)
change the deprecated package.keywords references to package.accept_keywords, bug 337159
stable portage version no longer uses /etc/make.conf.example, see the -dev ML. the 2008.0 handbooks should still reference the old location, though, as there is no released stage tarball with the new location in /usr/share.
Now you, too, can do crazy weird things like turn your Portage config locations upside down, inside out, and into directories. Join the party at bug 218078\!
whoops, missed a bit that should have been in the last commit. added now, no revbump as it was just a couple of words i forgot to include.
updates for new elog modules etc., thanks to desultory for the suggestion, and zmedico for some qa module info
removed the section on where built rpm files go, we don't have hb-portage-ebuild anymore and the support for RPMs is so limited that having it included is pointless
