stupid adobe. they decided once again to only provide a 32-bit version of flash, making life harder for 64-bit users. updated the amd64 FAQ with the new flash info. bug 328809.
should probably include the Core iX processors (i7, i5, i3) as supported em64t, on the off-chance that someone wants to run Gentoo on one of these things
the hell with using cpudyn. it's antiquated, outdated, and a bitch to configure. now using cpufrequtils, which is extremely simple. also updated the kernel config, as it was completely outdated with recent kernels. fortunately, most of these options should already be set in the default config, so users won't have to change much. plus it works better for em64t users, too. less focused exclusively on AMD chips
updated amd64 faq. added a section on differences between amd64 and em64t. included link to source. and rehashed some info from the amd64.g.o project page. hopefully this will clear up confusion.
the flash plugin got a new name, and updated some of the install instructions
